Lilly Thurman


Lilly Thurman was born and raised in East Bernard, TX.

At the age of 15 she began dancing at her local hometown dance studio, Keller Academy of Performing Arts (KAPA) where she then became the leading hip hop instructor.

Lilly Thurman received her Bachelor's Degree in Dance Performance and Choreography at Texas State University in 2019.

During her time at Texas State, Lilly worked with numerous choreographers from around the world, performed nationally and internationally, received multiple awards for her work, established and was president of IBA hip hop dance company, and became a leader in the Psalm 149 Dance Company.

Since graduating from Texas State, Lilly is now recognized as an international choreographer, choreographing for the 2019 COCO Dance Festival in Trinidad and Tobago.

Lilly has also choreographed for the 2019 Chosen Women's Conference in San Antonio, TX.

Thurman has also performed professionally as a guest artist in Noblemotion's 2019 production of "Man Overboard" and as a soloist with the Psalm 149 Dance Company.

Lilly is currently working on her Masters of Fine Arts in Dance degree from Sam Houston State University and is in the process of opening a dance studio with Angeline Fletcher and Hailey Hix called Studio 149, located in New Braunfels, TX.
